A toddler was caught in the middle of what ended up being a deadly fight between to men during prayer time in Thy Kingdom Come Church in Wheaton, Minnesota. The result of the fight was the young female toddler named Aundrea Brownlow being struck in the head and killed when the bat hit her instead of her father, Claude Hankins.
In short, apparently the attacker, David Collins got into an argument about only $20 and a washer and dryer that needed to be moved from his home to Hankins’. Reportedly, the argument between the two started at a flea market and resulted in Collins going to get a bat, taking it to church and while Hankins was seating his daughter, Collins began to swing the bat. At one point he missed Hankins and the blow caught Aundrea Brownlow, the toddler, in the head cracking her skull.
Apparently, both men were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. Afterwards, Collins fled the scene but as later arrested. He faces at least 17 years for involuntary second degree murder and second degree assault.
May God be with all affected by this terrible crime.
