So we see Prince dolled up in high heel shoes, make-up, let’s go crazy, right? Well, what may have been a job for the artist we all know as Prince, isn’t really all that Prince is. In fact, most of what makes up Prince beyond the job is God – Jehovah God.
Prince, unknown to many people, goes door to door as a Jehovah’s Witness – yes, as a celebrity, but the only thing is, Prince doesn’t appear as the celebrity Prince when he does so most of the time. In fact, as Prince talks to the Daily Mirror, he says that unlike his past, he has “an incredible peace with his life now“, and he wants to share it with others, even in his music which contains may codes and symbols deriving from the Bible.
Interestingly enough that a famed celebrity goes door to door evangelizing because, let’s all face it, that is highly uncommon- even for many in gospel music, Prince loves to discuss God, sometimes like a full time nine to five for eight hours in study. He is highly devoted to his faith and won’t talk about the past nor perform any of his sexually absorbed material from back in the day.
Honestly, learning more about this side of Prince is a great thing. It shows that the man and what is visibly shown are two different people, though his clothing will tend to take you back continuously to the Dove’s Cry days. The present man called Prince has nothing to do with that time anymore.
