Gay Jesus Kissing Judas At School Play? Stories Gone Too Far In Name of Tolerance?

by admin

When are people going to realize that you can’t create an imperfect Jesus because He is in fact as perfect as perfect can get?  There is news out of Texas about a play where Jesus is depicted as a homosexual while kissing  Judas and marrying two other disciples.  Can anyone say distasteful and disgraceful all at the same time?

According to this article out of FOX, Tarleton State University is allowing a student to put on a performance around Easter questioning the moral of Jesus  by making Him, the Son of God, not only a homosexual but a man of multiple partners, marrying two apostles and kissing Judas.

Of course, this is outraging residents who live in the surrounding areas who have caught wind of the play, and a pastor weighed in on the situation courtesy of FOX:

“It infuriates me that somebody would be given a platform to be able to demean and degrade the Son of God,” said David Harris, pastor of the town’s Hillcrest Church of Christ. “I’m angry about it and every Christian should be.”

The director of the play is basically stating that it isn’t attacking the faith as he is a devout Christian, but instead preaching tolerance.  See more of this article at FOXNews.

It seems that there is a total misunderstanding with the Bible and morals when it comes down to Jesus and what He stands for as well as Who He is.  For anyone who has read the Bible, one sees that Jesus is the Son of God.  One also sees that Jesus has never married as well as wasn’t homosexual.  Because He is the King of kings, Lord of Lords as stated in Isaiah and is worshiped, it is a terrible offense to create anything other than perfection in Jesus.  There has never been nor will be proof marking Jesus as anyone else except for the Son of God.  Of course, there are those stories that try to destroy every aspect of Jesus out of the fact that He loves all mankind.  The loving mankind aspect is true of Jesus, however, the mistake in understanding with many people that comes with this is that though Jesus loves all human beings, He hates sin in any kind.  A man’s sin and a man are two very different things, and this is what many attempt to mesh together.  They don’t equal.  Sin is something or a action that a person does or commits.  Sin is not a person.

For instance, a child does something wrong.  It disappoints and even saddens the parent.  The parent may discipline the child and explain the wrongdoing, however, the child is still loved regardless of the fact that the parent dislikes or hates the wrong action.  This is a bit like Jesus, and this is why He forgives.  If there is no sin, there would be no need for forgiveness, and if there is forgiveness, then there is something that was done against the laws of God.  Jesus never has to actually sin to forgive sin.  This is because He loves everyone and wants everyone to do better and accept His salvation.

To say that Jesus is a homosexual when the Bible specifically states more than once that homosexuality is a sin, just as fornication, lies, stealing, murder, etc are all sins, creates a total lie against God Almighty and further more preaches to further the lack of moral understanding that already exists in this world today.

God always loves the man or woman regardless, but He will always hate sin.  Always.  Has this play about a gay Jesus gone too far in the name of love and the thing called tolerance?
