When are parents going to step it up and be parents and not friends? Lady Gaga recently performed in Cumbria, a place where had a shooting spree killing many just before her show in the area. Despite the fact that parents are well aware of Lady Gaga and her far cry for attention with blood, killing and basically the ultimate and extreme in everything Lady Gaga does including attire, the parents still took children to watch the performance that she was to put forth while onstage during the concert at MEN Arena in Manchester. How they were amazed and horrified, shocked for that matter at what went down onstage is just as disturbing as the show.
Parents and their children looked on as a fake slaughter took place which then reminded them of slaughters that had taken place hours before the performance in real life. One parent even said, according to The Daily Mail, “I was absolutely sickened at what I saw. We know Lady Gaga is not exactly mainstream performance for all the family but she really crossed the line this time.” On top of that she blamed Lady Gaga for crossing the line as well as many other parents.
Pardon the interruption, how is it all Lady Gaga’s fault when it’s the parent that took them to the concert? Sure, Lady Gaga performances are a mess, not to be viewed by children, let alone many adults, but as far as things go with Gaga, she has no children and has felt nothing of that look out for my child bond…ever. Honestly, Lady Gaga breaks several moral rules in The Book it seems and seems detached from any other reality but her own. In the end, Lady Gaga is held accountable for herself, but instead of blaming her, parents should “man up” and admit when their parenting skills are a little lax when it comes to their children’s entertainment. Complaints about the Lady Gaga concert go on:
The scene may have been part of her show but it could have been toned down give the violent events of Bradford and Cumbria. ‘It was extremely tasteless to see her pretend to be attacked in such a gory way – especially in front of young children.
‘What happened in Bradford is very fresh in people’s minds and given all the violence which happened in Cumbria just hours earlier, pop stars should be more a lot more sensitive and not be featuring scenes of murder in their shows.
‘Several of us were aghast when Lady Gaga appeared to be covered in blood. There were lot of the kids there who were sickened too. Many had their hands over their mouths in shock.’
There are many artists out right now that can pass for children’s entertainment, even outside of gospel music and entertainment, however, it seems that the more societies age, the more ignorant they get in the wholesome and moral things from their very beginnings that God put forth. One can’t even expect a child to know how to choose right over wrong when parents are blinded to it themselves. Parents are the responsible parties, and it is still their duty to teach children how to live in a chaotic world and not be a part or contribute to the chaos.
In the end, parents must blame themselves for the Lady Gaga mess in their faces, not Lady Gaga. This is a common thing for her and the parents knew this ahead of time. Classic Gaga.
