Reverend Jeremiah Wright Versus The White House – A “Toxic” Relationship

by admin

The Reverend Jeremiah Wright has been in the spotlight ever since his connection with Barack Obama went to the presidency.  From racist to crazy is what many speak of him and those are all opinion, however, the one thing that most can say about him that seems to hit fact is that the reverend doesn’t hold his tongue when it comes to what he believes in.

There was a letter sent to Africa 6000 International of Pennsylvania from Reverend Jeremiah Wright that is said to have words about the Obama Administration completely cutting him off and any efforts that he would attempt to make to help victims of Haiti would go in one ear and out the other when it comes to the White House, in general.  For specifics, the words of Rev. Wright are below:

“No one in the Obama administration will respond to me, listen to me, talk to me or read anything that I write to them. I am ‘toxic’ in terms of the Obama administration.  “I am ‘radioactive,’ Sir. When Obama threw me under the bus, he threw me under the bus literally!” he wrote. “Any advice that I offer is going to be taken as something to be avoided. Please understand that.” – via NYDN.  These are supposedly some of the words used in the letter to a Joseph Prischak.

So is Reverend Jeremiah Wright “toxic” and “radioactive” to the White House as Wright claims?  Maybe.  Maybe not.  It may just be a case of keeping too much connection down between him and the President due to the fact that their relationship with one another caused such an uproar.  It seems that the relationship between the two men is permanently damaged, despite the fact that the Reverend was very instrumental in their family life  i.e. baptizing his two girls.  Such a shame that in this particular case, even if Reverend Jeremiah Wright had a great request, more than likely many may think it to be a bad idea for anyone in the White House to grab at it.

As far as the letter to Africa 6000 International, it was written earlier in the year, and who knows why this is coming out right now.  It did, however, and let the chips fall.  From an unbiased standpoint, the Reverend said nothing that the rest of the public didn’t already guess.  Mixing Reverend Jeremiah Wright and President Barack Obama in any way is food for drama in the media, and Barack has plenty drama going on in Congress at the moment – all starting with YOU LIE out of South Carolina’s way.
